The DigiBall Gala, hosted by Digital Harbor High School and the Digital Harbor Alliance, Inc. is a highly energized party that unites the school with the technology community, business sector and neighborhood. We are proud to share that Former Baltimore City Public Schools Chief Technology Officer and the founding Principal of Digital Harbor High School, Michael Pitroff, is this year’s Honorary DigiBall Chair.
DigiBall is a tax deductible event celebrating the successes and achievements of the school community. At the event, students will have an opportunity to showcase their talent and potential. DigiBall is the main source of funds for the Digital Harbor Community Scholarship Fund–a component of the Baltimore Community Foundation and a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The fund allows for high-achieving Digital Harbor students to fulfill their college dreams by providing additional funds to bridge the gap for expenses that other financial aid and scholarship packages do not cover. Sixteen scholarships were awarded with the proceeds from last year’s DigiBall and all scholarships given to students are fully renewable, so students will receive this award from freshman to senior year in college.
This year’s Gala, DigiBall 4.0, will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 7-11 PM at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. Everyone will enjoy a delicious buffet catered by some of the Baltimore area’s best restaurants. There will be an open bar and sample signature drinks from some of your favorite pubs, as well as a wide selection of beer and wine. At Digiball 4.0 there will be a silent auction featuring many wonderful items such as vacations, products, gift certificates, and event tickets.
Come join us for the party of the season–the one everyone will be talking about! And remember, all of the money raised at the event is funneled directly into scholarships for Digital Harbor Scholars. Invite your friends, invite your neighbors, and invite your co-workers for a wonderful evening and a wonderful cause.
